We have been actively involved in the llama community since 1993, and in 1996 founded Wellspring Farm. Elke is a fiber artist and uses the llama fiber for spinning and felting. In the past few years we have been involved in a breeding program which concentrates on producing animals of excellent confirmation, temperament and fiber. We offer limited outside breedings with live birth guarentees.

OH MY GOSH! A BRAND NEW HOME! On Christmas Day 2007 we were thrilled to deliver Arianna and Florence to their beautiful new home at Mountain Farm. Lots of love and pasture is in store for them. Have fun with the goats, girls!

STUD FOR SALE Wellspring's Lla Luna's Eclipse, born June 2005, is for sale as a intact male. His sire is Vanilla Smudge and his dam is Lla Luna. He is the son of champions, and contains some of the original founding llama bloodlines in the US. Very flashy, with good solid confirmation.

Eclipse is ILR registered, halter trained, basic pack trained, with excellent fiber and a sweet disposition. He is also a great PR llama. His dad has the same personality and was Best of Show at 10 years old. He would make a wonderful addition to any farm, looking for good bloodlines and personality.
